Keshi funeral procession begins today

The body of Nigerian football legend, former Super Eagles player and former Coach of the National Team, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi, will begin its final journey home today (Thursday, July 28th, 2016).
The journey is slated to take-off from the Edo State Capital, Benin City.
The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, on Wednesday confirmed that the final rites would be confined to Edo and Delta States.
The NFF delegation to Keshi's final rites will be led by the President, Mr. Amaju Melvin Pinnick, and will include, amongst others, Mr. Frank Ilaboya (Chairman of the Edo State Football Association), Mr. Neville Bekederemo (Chairman of NPFL side Warri Wolves FC) and Mr. Edema Fuludu (Chairman of Delta State League Management Company).
The Great Stephen Keshi died in Benin City on Wednesday, June 8, at the age of 54.
His remains will be interred on Friday, at his hometown of Illah, Delta State.
