Following the death of legendary Nigerian coaches, Stephen Keshi and Amodu Shuaibu, the House of Representatives has mandated the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) to ensure immediate payment of their entitlements; which are to be given to their families.
Rep. Samuel Onuigbo, who sponsored the motion, noted that the two iconic Nigerians served the country as coaches and their demise is a huge loss to both national and the international community.
Members of the House are also seeking for Keshi and Amodu to be immortalized by the Federal Government.
Amodu Shuaibu died on Saturday, just three days after Keshi passed away.
Both men had coached the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
