Makeshift bombs discovered in London flat, man arrested

A man has been arrested in Britain after two makeshift bombs were discovered by police in an unoccupied flat in northwest London, on Thursday.
The 48-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of offences under the Explosive Substances Act, following an investigation by counter-terrorism after authorities were called to the flat in Harlesden, where the bombs were found on Wednesday.
Police say the suspect has no links to any terrorist organizations..
"At this early stage of the investigation, detectives do not believe that the arrested man has links to any terrorist organizations, or that there are any ongoing public safety issues," police said.
