Man United star sets to make debut against Astana after winning cancer battle
Manchester United youngster Max Taylor has reportedly won battle against cancer and he is now set to make his debut for the Old Trafford club in the Europe League against FC Astana.
Max Taylor battled against the life-threatening disease for a year receiving treatment before winning the battle. According to the report on Goal, the 19-year-old was at the Christie hospital in Manchester where he gave United shirt to a 11-year-old boy who is battling against cancer. My first thought was: 'Will I play football again?' But then you get to the point when you're by yourself, you can't sleep and all you're thinking is. 'This could end my life. I got out of the clinic and thought: 'Oh my God,'' Max Taylor told BBC. Meanwhile, Manchester United are currently topping Group L in the Europa League and a win for them against Astana will send the Red Devils to the knock out stages.
