Britain's Brexit ministry has confirmed that the British Parliament will get a chance to vote on any agreed deal with the European union regarding the country's potential exit.

This move by the UK's Brexit ministry is aimed at squashing a previous announcement by a minister who suggested that British politicians may be denied the all crucial vote after an exit deal has been agreed on with the European Union.

"Once the deal is agreed, we will meet our long-standing commitment to a vote in both Houses and we expect and intend this to be before the vote in the European Parliament and therefore before we leave," a spokesperson for Brexit minister David Davis said in a statement.

This comes after reports emerged on Tuesday that Britain may already be out of the European Union before its parliament gets the chance to vote on any prospective deals.

Consequently, this means that reports of a potential second brexit referendum are still on course as the people may be entitled to vote on the outcome if parliament rejects any deals presented before it.
