Gun men kill four naval personnel, abduct three expatriates in Bayelsa

Gunmen have killed four Naval Personnel and abducted three expatriates working with Sterling Global Dredger in Agge Community, Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
According to reports, The incident occurred on Friday January 3, Among the expatriates who were abducted are two Russians and one Indian citizen. It was gathered that the Naval personnel were on guard duty at the facility when the gunmen engaged them in a fierce shoot out which lasted for over four hours. One of the gunmen was reportedly killed during the shoot out reports say. No militant groups has claimed responsibility for the killing of the four Naval Personnel as well as the abduction of the foreign nationals. When contacted for comments, the Commander of the Nigerian Navy Ship, NNS Delta, Rear Admiral Ibrahim Dewu did no pick phone calls nor respond to text message sent to him.
