Osinbajo: I will waive my constitutional immunity to be investigated
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday, September 25, in a tweet said that he is ready to forgo his immunity to allow for proper investigation of falsehood and libel against him.
The second citizen of the nation also said that he has asked that a legal action be taken against Timi Frank and Katch Ononuju who have been at the forefront of the falsehood claims. It should be noted that Frank is a former deputy national publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress who said that the Federal Inland Revenue Service provided thee vice president with a sum of N90 billion for election campaign. The Cable reports that the former secretary of the ruling part said that he would not be intimidated by the service’s move to sue him as he asked it to stop its deception.
I will waive my constitutional immunity to enable the most robust adjudication of these claims of libel and malicious falsehood.
