Oshiomhole threatens labour minister Ngige with suspension

Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige, has been told to inaugurate the board members of federal agencies and parastatals under his ministry of face suspension from his party.
The National Chairman of the ruling Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, made the threat on Monday, in an interview newsmen at the State House at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Oshiomhole said the party under his stewardship will not permit ministers of the Buhari-led administration to abuse their office and disregarding directives from the president.
The party chairman in a letter sent to the minister, gave Ngige an ultimatum of one week to within which he is to constitute the board of the parastatals and agencies under his ministry which includes: Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund, National Directorate of Employment, National Productivity Centre, and Michael Imoudu Institute for Labour Studies.
While expressing disbelief over the letter, the labour minister in his reply, explained why he would not constitute the Board of NSITF within the one week ultimatum given by Oshiomhole.
