14 lawmakers of Ekiti State House of Assembly have impeached the speaker of the house, Kola Oluwawole.
Ebenezer Alagbada was immediately sworn-in as the new speaker.
The deputy speaker and principal officers of the House. Some members of the House were also suspended.
The lawmakers cited abuse of office and mismanagement of the resources of the House among other reasons for their actions.
