The 90th Academy Awards also known as The Oscars, held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles has concluded with an amazing list of winners including the movie "The Shape of Water" by Guillermo del Toro claiming the Best Picture Award. The ceremony is meant to celebrate the achievement achieved in the movie industry for the year under review.
This years award which was hosted for the second time by TV host Jimmy Kimmel, might have been slightly overshadowed by the "Me Too" and "Times Up" which has rocked the film industry in the past year.
In his opening monologue, host Kimmel poked fun at a wide range of topic including President Trump and his vice, Mike Pence, the Harvey Weinstein scandal, equal pay and last year's infamous error, when Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty revealed the wrong Best Picture winner, saying: "This year when you hear your name called - don't get up straight away."
Guillermo del Toro's "The Shape of Water" had the most nomination of the night; 13 nominations, and it ended up winning four Oscars, including major categories Best Picture and Directing, as well as Production Design and Original Score.
