Nigeria vs Cameroon: Seedorf reveals what he is expecting from Super Eagles
Head coach of Cameroon, Clarence Seedorf, has said he expects Nigeria to put up a much-improved performance when both sides clash in the Round of 16 at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The Super Eagles opened their campaign with consecutive 1-0 wins over Burundi and Guinea, before losing 2-0 to debutants Madagascar in their final Group B fixture. On the other hand, the Indomitable Lions under Seedorf, have won one and drew two in the group stages, without conceding a goal. We will respect Nigeria because they can improve on what they’ve shown so far in this tournament. We expect the very best Nigeria tomorrow because they have shown at the World Cup and during the qualifiers that they are a good team, so we expect them to be much improved against us and we have to be ready,” Seedorf told a pre-match conference on Friday. The clash kicks off 5pm tomorrow in Alexandria.
