Migrant filled truck crashes in Libya, at least 19 killed

Officials says a truck which crashed near the town of Bani Walid, in Libya on Wednesday, was carrying Europe-bound African migrants. The crash killed least 19 dead and with no lower that 78 people injured.
According to the Manager of the Bani Walid Hospital, the truck had somersaulted some kilometres south of the town and of the 78 people brought in injured, 8 were very serious. He said "We did not receive the driver (at the hospital), and we don't know what has happened to him, most likely he's survived otherwise he would be brought here."
Military sources says the 25 people lost their lives, adding that Eritrean and Somali nationals among among the victims.
The town of Bani Walid is know to be frequently used by smugglers who transports migrants attempting to cross to Europe through Libya's Mediterranean coast.
