Gunmen attack on EFCC is Fabricated - Fayose

- Fayose's aide says the attack on EFCC headquarters and threat to investigators were made up.
- The Fabrication was designed to attract sympathy to Magu who is "on his way out of the agency".
- The EFCC reported earlier that Gunmen attacked their headquarters and issued threat to a lead investigator.
Lere Olayinka who is the Media Assistant to Governor Ayo Fayose has released a statement describing the attack on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) as a "big lie".
The aide further explained that this fabrication was designed to attract sympathy from Nigerians towards EFCC's Acting Director who should be "kicked out of office".
Lere was however unclear whether these were his views or those of the ever outspoken Governor.
