- DSS Unsuccessfully tried to arrest Reno.

- Met with his book distributor in Abuja Airport.
Reno Omokri, the spokesman for Goodluck Jonathan has revealed that the DSS attempted to arrest him at the International Airport Abuja but met his absence.

The Spokesman who is also a US based author made this revelation to Vanguard. According to him, he had sent a consignment of his books which was to be delivered to a distributor in Nigeria but this was intercepted by the DSS.

Mr Omokri said "the DSS agent kept asking the distributor, are you the author?' to which the distributor responded in the negative. At which point, the distributor was detained and taken to an office with four or five other people in it.

"After some minutes, the distributor, who heard the DSS agent discussing his fate in an adjoining room, began moving to the door, which had been left ajar, and then bolted and took to his heels."

Also, in an electronic voice mail sent to Vanguard, the distributor said he was repeatedly asked "Are you the author?" "Where is the author?" and "where is your passport?" among several questions to which he told them he was not the author and neither was he travelling abroad."
