Ondo APC Governorship Primaries: 'Fake Delegates' confess that they were bribed to vote for Akeredolu

Some delegates at the just concluded Ondo All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship primaries, have confessed that they were hired to vote for one of the aspirants in the election.
Speaking with newsmen in Akure, two of such supposedly fake delegates disclosed that they were approached by some supporters of the aspirant with N10,000 and given the identification tags and instructed to vote for Rotimi Akeredolu.
However, their allegations were refuted by a staunch member of APC in Ondo State, Chief Timehin Adelegbe.
He insisted that there was no way a non-delegate could vote in the primary election as "Žno one whose name was not on the delegate list voted.
In the same vein, one of aspirants in the primary election, Jamiu Ekungba also expressed satisfaction with the result of the primary election.
Speaking with newsmen in Akure, the Ondo State Capital, Ekungba said the election was free and fair, and expressed delight that his Owo town's man, Rotimi Akeredolu, emerged as the party's flagbearer.
Ekungba, who is a member of the APC Board of Trustees, however denied the news that emerged from an online media the he stormed out of the venue of the election calling Ondo people bastards and betrayers because the delegates collected money from him and did not vote for him.
