North Korea on a reckless path - S. Korean Govt. official

- South Korean government official warns the the North is on a reckless path.

- Continuous disregard for international community and nuclear provocations will be economic hardship and instability.

- U.N. Security Council expected to vote later today.
South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha has warned North Korea that they are on a reckless path as they continue to defy international condemnation as they continue with their nuclear provocations.

"The price of its continued provocations in blatant disregard of the peace-loving members of the international community will be instability and economic hardship," Kang told a news conference.

This warning comes just a few hours before the United Nations Security Council votes which is due to hold later today.

The Security council is expected to carry out votes on whether to proceed with more stringent sanctions for North Korea as proposed by the United States of America.
