BREAKING: Crystal Palace FC sack Frank de Boer as Manager

- De Boer had previously received the backing of Palace Chairman but was subsequently sacked on Monday.

Premier League Club, Crystal Palace have announced the sacking of manager Frank de Boer following the club's fourth consecutive league defeat.

After the recent defeat on Sunday, de Boer was backed by club chairman Steve parish to steer the club out of the mess but by Monday morning, Palace announced on their website that they had parted ways with their Dutch manager.

The statement read "Crystal Palace Football Club have this morning parted company with Frank de Boer," the statement read. "We would like to thank Frank for his dedication and hard work during his time at the Club.

"A new manager will be appointed in due course and we wish Frank the very best of luck for the future.

"There will be no further comment at this time."

Meanwhile, top British media outlets are already reporting that Palace are on the verge of replacing Frank de Boer with Former England and Fulham manager, Roy Hodgson.
