Suicide bomb attack near Afghanistan police checkpoint kills six

At least six people have been killed as Kabul is once again rocked by suicide bombing attack close to a police checkpoint, which is near a school in central Kabul, in the same area the finance and justice ministries as well as presidential palace is located in Afghan's capital.
An interior ministry spokesperson says ten policemen and civilians, including women, were injured in the attack.
The police said the attacker, who was on foot, was about 20 metres from where a gathering of demonstrators were staging a protest against the government's failure to prevent attacks by Taliban militants in two provinces, just 30 minutes earlier.
Police spokesman Basir Mujahid said: "I took four bodies away but there were more on the ground," without giving further details.
No group has yet claimed responsibility.
