The U.S. has rejected North Korea's claims that President Donald Trump declared war on them when he stated that they "won't be around much longer".
These comments from the U.S. come after North Korean Foreign Minister stated that U.S. President Donald Trump had declared war on North Korea and as a result, they may shoot down any U.S. strategic bombers even though they were not in North Korean airspace.
"We have not declared war against North Korea and frankly the suggestion of that is absurd," White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said.
US Defense Secretary Jim Mattis has also said that such a move would be a "shocking display of irresponsibility."
Meanwhile, Regional leaders and the international community continue to warn that war on Korean Peninsula will have 'catastrophic consequences.
