A two-year-old boy has gone missing, after being dragged into the water by an Alligator near a Disney World hotel in Orlando.
The child was dragged into the Seven Seas Lagoon near the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa at around 9.30pm on Tuesday, and efforts by his father to drag him away from the Alligator were unsuccessful.
The family had come to the resort from Nabraska.
Deputies are searching the lagoon for the child, police have said.
The Grand Floridian Resort is one of three luxury hotels located along the lagoon's edge.
It is not known if the boy or his family are guests at the hotel, where prices for standard rooms start from $569 per night.
The search is still ongoing, but authorities say its now unlikely that the little boy would be found alive.
