Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has emerged as 2019's most powerful dresser according the Lyst Index, an annual fashion report which analyses data collected throughout the year to reveal the biggest trends.
Markle who ranked third in 2018 climbed the ranks to number one, replacing make-up mogul, Kylie Jenner, Daily Mail reports. It was gathered that music stars often dominate the list but the Duchess of Sussex is the only royal to feature in the top ten this year. She was followed by Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya, in second and third place. From her unwavering penchant for covetable coats to the former actor’s ability to send Strathberry bags flying from the shelves, her style has managed to inspire many, earning her the top spot as a grate fashion influencer. Reports reveal that the global fashion search platform Lyst collated data including sales, page views, global media coverage and social media mentions to generate findings on this year's biggest trends.
