Former PSG player, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, announced on Thursday, that he was joining English club side, Manchester United.

The announcement came on the same day Ibrahimovic became a free agent, after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired.

Making the announcement on Instagram, the 34year old Swede stated: "Time to let the world know. My next destination is @manchesterunited #iamcoming"

According to ESPN, Ibrahimovic was yet to sign a contract or have a medical when he announced his plans, and United have not yet confirmed the move.

Sources close to the deal disclose that provisional terms on a one-year deal had been agreed two weeks ago, though a clause in his PSG contract delayed the transfer.

Manchester United are set to play Galatasaray in a friendly in Ibrahimovic's native Sweden on July 30. The announcement for the match was made early Thursday.
