Premier League superstar breaks Ronaldo's record at Man United after 183 games

Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has surpassed Cristiano Ronaldo's Premier League goal scoring record at Manchester United after netting against Newcastle United.
        Jamie Vardy's brace against Newcastle United on Sunday, September 29, took his Premier League goal tally to 85 after 183 games in six seasons. And between 2003-2009 that Cristiano Ronaldo played for Manchester United, the Portuguese netted 84 goals in 196 games for the Red Devils. Apart from surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo's Premier League goal scoring record, Jamie Vardy has also taken his 2019-20 season’s goal-scoring tally to five in seven matches. Considering his recent record, Jamie Vardy is no doubt one of the finest players to have ever played in the English Premier League. It will also be recalled that the 32-year-old Englishman was superb for Leicester City in 2015/16 season where they won the Premier League title. Meanwhile, Leicester City are currently occupying third position on the Premier League standings with 14 points after seven games. Liverpool are topping the Premier League standings with 21 points after winning their seven games played so far while Man City are second with 16 points.
