Man United prepare to sign top goalkeeper as De Gea is set to join Juventus next summer
Jan Oblak is in line to replace David De Gea if he leaves Manchester United for Juventus next summer, reports claim. According to SunSport, De Gea has told his close pals he will not accept United's £350,000-per-week contract offer.
The Spaniard will be out of contract at the end of the season and his international teammates believe he will leave the Red Devils on a free transfer. The Express also claims Juventus are favourites to land the 28-year-old and will begin talks with with the shot-stopper early next year. Juventus are known to have made top signings who were free agents and De Gea's move to the Allianz Arena will be the biggest of them all. The likes of Dani Alves, Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba, Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey have all arrived in Turin for nothing. Reports have now suggested that Atletico Madrid goalie Oblak would be the most likely replacement for De Gea. The Slovenia international has developed into one of the best goalkeepers in the world, since joining Diego Simeone's side in 2014. Oblak has conceded just 96 goals and kept 90 clean sheets in 156 appearances in La Liga, making 385 saves at a percentage of 79.8.
