Chelsea superstar admits Frank Lampard is under pressure to deliver glory

Brazil international David Luiz has admitted that newly appointed Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is under pressure to deliver glory at Stamford Bridge next season. Having had just one season managerial experience at Derby County, Chelsea hired their former star and legend Lampard as coach thereby replacing Maurizio Sarri. Chelsea are currently on pre-season tour preparing for the 2019/20 Premier League season and also the Champions League in which they beat St Patrick’s 4-0 last Saturday.
Last season under Maurizio Sarri, the Italian took Chelsea to third place in the Premier League and delivered Europa League victory beating Arsenal in the final. “Everyone knows Lamps is a legend. It was a pleasure to work with him as a player and it’s a pleasure to work with him as a coach now. When you play with a player like Lamps, he is a leader anyway so he is still leading the team now in a different place. “He cannot run any more and cannot score goals any more but he’s still a leader, said David Luiz.  The squad is good enough, with the experienced players, the talented players, the young players, Lampard explained according to UK Sun.
