Luis Enrique will step down as Spain's national team bus due to personal reasons. The former Barcelona manager has spent just less than a year the spanish national team.
Enrique, 49, has been replaced by his long term assistant Robert Moreno Luis, Enrique steped down as Spain manager because of "serious personal reasons" with less just than a year in the job. The 49-year-old who took over from sacked Julen Lopetegui after the World Cup. His assistant Moreno was in charge of Spain's win against Malta and Sweden in Group F's Euro 2020 qualifiers. Enrique who had previously manged Celta Vigo, Roma and Barcelona will make an official announcement on Wednesday, June 19. He spent three years at the Camp Nou and won nine trophies, including two La Liga titles and one Champions League trophy. Enrique was without a job for over a year before taking up the responsibility of handling the national team. The former Spain international has been previously linked with Chelsea after Antonio Conte's departure from Stamford Bridge.
