Transfer: 3 Madrid players in shock swap deal for Pogba
Three Real Madrid players could leave Santiago Bernabeu this summer’s transfer window to join Manchester United in a swap deal for midfielder, Paul Pogba. It was reported that Real Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane, has told the club’s board to prioritise a transfer for Pogba this summer.
Pogba is unsettled at Old Trafford and Zidane is keen on bringing him to Real Madrid. The France World Cup winner is one of the midfielders on Real Madrid’s wish list this summer, alongside the likes of Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek. However, The Sunday Times is now reporting that Real Madrid are ready to offer Man United Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez and Keylor Navas in a bid to sign Pogba. The report claimed that Bale, Rodriguez and Navas are not in Zidane’s plan for next season. The report also claimed that Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez is keen to avoid a straight cash payment for Pogba and is willing to swap the trio for the 26-year-old midfielder.
