Ancelotti speaks on Koulibaly joining Man United next season
Napoli manager, Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that defender, Kalidou Koulibaly, will remain at the club for another season despite interest from Manchester United.
Ancelotti stated this after Napoli defeated Bologna 3-2 in the Serie A encounter over the weekend. Koulibaly will remain in Naples in the next season,” Ancelotti told Radio Rai. Koulibaly had in recent weeks been strongly linked with a move to Man United in this summer’s transfer window. The 27-year-old Senegal international is valued at €150million by Napoli. Speaking on a potential move to Manchester United or other clubs, Koulibaly told Rai Sport in February: “My future? I don’t. I don’t know if I’m one of the strongest defenders. I always try to give my best. Since I’m here, I always try to grow with Napoli. I have a lot of motivation to go on and I want to keep doing this. I am pleased that many teams follow me, but I want to demonstrate on the field that I am at the level of the greatest and I want to show it in the future.”
