Sport EPL: Cancelo takes final decision on joining Manchester United this summer
Juventus defender, Joao Cancelo, has said that he doesn’t want to leave the club this summer, amid interest from Manchester United. The Portuguese has been linked with a move to Man United in recent weeks given that manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to sign a long-term replacement for 33-year-old right-back, Ashley Young, who is in the later stage of his career at Old Trafford.
Cancelo, who joined the Serie A champions last summer, said his future remains at Juventus. I’ve learned a lot this year, I went through many positive moments with fantastic people and friends,” the 24-year-old told Goal. I want to stay here, I hope my future is at Juventus – where I hope to win many different trophies. Camcelo added: We had four objectives at the start of the season. Unfortunately, we couldn’t achieve two of them but we met our other two goals. At Juventus, the most important thing is winning and like every season, we will try again next year.
