The 28-year-old, who joined Chelsea from Lille in a deal around £32 million in 2012, has just one more year on his current deal with the club. He has however been offered an improved contract to extend his stay at the Stamford Bridge, but the attacker turned them down a deal to become the highest-paid player in Premier League history. While the Independent reports the two parties are close to agreement as the summer window approaches and the deal looks likely to go through. The publication believes Chelsea might be forced to sell the attacker for about £100 million despite facing two transfer windows ban. So far this campaign, Hazard has scored 19 goals and 15 assists in all competitions for the Blues - and will have a chance to win silverware when they battle Arsenal in the Europa League final. Real Madrid on the other hand have promised to back Zinedine Zidane during the summer transfer window as they hope to get the team back to the top.
