EPL: Manchester United set asking price for Pogba
Manchester United have informed midfielder, Paul Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, that the club will not consider offers of under £130m for the World Cup winner. The Red Devils are reportedly keen on handing Pogba the captain’s armband in a bid to make him remain at Old Trafford, United want the 26-year-old to snub interest from Real Madrid and remain at the Theatre of Dreams.
The Marca is, however, reporting that United could be open to letting the player go, but Real Madrid would have to come up with a bid of around £130m to land the 2018 World Cup winner. United boss, Solskjaer had recently maintained that the club would keep hold of Pogba this summer. But it has since been reported that the relationship between the two individuals has deteriorated. The French midfielder has scored 16 goals in 41 appearances for Manchester United this season, and provided 11 assists.
