Osaze Odemwingie announces his retirement from football in an emotional way.


        Peter Osaze Odemwingie has announced his retirement from the game of football - Odemwingie last played for the Super Eagles at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil - The 37-year-old also played for West Brom, Cardiff City and Stoke in the Premier League Former Super Eagles winger Peter Osaze Odemwingie who was known for his superb pace on the pitch has announced his retirement from football at the age of 37. Osaze Odemwingie made this announcement while appearing at the UEFA’s Equal Game conference at Wembley on Wednesday night, April 3. Odemwingie, who last played his professional football for Indonesian side Madura United in 2017, explained that he intends to embark on a coaching career.

“It’s an emotional day, so many memories go through your head. I didn’t know how to do it or where to do it, but I think this is the right place to do it. Wembley is a place with a lot of history in football. The next chapter is slowly building up to a coaching career and hopefully I will be coaching in the Premier League one day ” .
