Arsenal striker Iwobi hospitalised with food poisoning

Arsenal teenage sensation, Alex Iwobi has been hospitalised in Abuja due to food poisoning shortly after arriving the national team camp.
Team officials confirmed yesterday, that the striker, who was the first foreign-based player to arrive camp, was rushed to an undisclosed hospital in Abuja on Monday night by the team doctors as he was stooling and feverish.
coach Samson Siasia who Confirmed the development after the teams' training yesterday in a news conference, allayed fears that the Arsenal playmaker may not be available for the match on Friday, stressing that he would recover quick to join his colleagues in training in Kaduna.
"I think Alex developed a small sickness. I think he had food poisoning. Last night he was stooling and had a little fever, so the doctors took him to the hospital. I think he is going to be alright. But the other players arrived early this morning and they are all in the hotel. We have a full squad going into the game." Siasia said.
The player is one of the new revelations coach Siasia intends to unleash on the Pharaohs to ensure the Eagles triumph in Kaduna on Friday; before facing the Egyptians four days later in a return leg in Alexandria.
His father, Chuka, who flew with him from London, has visited the young striker in hospital.
Over the weekend, Iwobi crowned his first full Arsenal Premier League debut with a goal in a 2-0 win over Everton.
He has played two friendly matches for Nigeria since he changed international allegiance from England.
