Buhari nominates Ndoma-Egba as new NDDC Chairman

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, sent a letter to the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, nominating former Senate Leader, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, as the Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.
The President also nominated the former Deputy Governor of Akwa-Ibom State, Mr. Nsima Ekere, as the Managing Director of the Commission.
Former Rivers State Commissioner of Information and Communications, Mrs. Ibim Semenitari, has been the Acting MD of the NDDC since December 21, 2015.
President Buhari's nomination letter may be read on the floor of the Senate today (Thursday).
