House of Reps adhoc committee adopts 2014 National Conference report

House of Representatives Special Ad hoc Committee on the review of the 1999 Constitution, adopted the report of the "Ž2014 National Conference as part of its working document.
According to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Speaker, Mr Wole Oladimeji, the meeting was presided over by the Chairman of the Committee and Deputy Speaker of the House, Rt Hon Sulaimon Lasun Yussuff.
Committee members have received copies of the report to go through and come up with recommendations to the Committee while the consultants to the Committee have been given the report to advise the Committee on how to go about it.
Some of the salient proposals in the report would be turned into draft bills"Ž, which would be presented to the House for adoption and passage.
Work would commence on the review immediately the House resumes from its Sallah break.
