Unrest In Edo As EFCC Arrest PDP Guber Candidate

One of the key Gubernatorial candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu was arrested shortly after undergoing screening by the committee of the PDP in Benin city, the Edo state capital.
EFCC officials had stormed the PDP secretariat where they waited for the committee to screen Ize-Iyamu, before taking him away in an unmarked white Hilux van. He was taken to EFCC zonal head office in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital, for questioning.
His passport was also seized by officials of the anti-graft agency.
