PDP wins all 21 chairmanship seats in Adamawa LG election

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won big in Adamawa state as all its candidates in the December 7 local government election recorded victory.
        The Nation reports that all the PDP’s chairmanship candidates in the state’s 21 local government areas were declared winners on Sunday, It was gathered that the results were announced by the Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission (ADSIEC)’s chairman, Isa Shetimma. The opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), however, alleged that the polls were marred with malpractices. Meanwhile in another report, it was gathered that the APC won all 16 positions to the seat of the local govt chairman in Ekiti state. The election was held on Saturday, December 7. The returning officers in all the local government councils announced the results at the headquarters of the Ekiti State Independent Electoral Commission (ESIEC).
