Watch the moment excited Nigerians and family members trooped out to receive  Sowore after his release by the DSS.

         Sowore was arrested on the 3rd of August 2019 by the Nigerian Authorities following a planned protest by Mr. Sowore, Idris Abdulkareem and others. Sowore was released yesterday after a Federal high court issued an order for his release twice and had to give the DSS a 24 hour ultimatum or face court action before he was finally released yesterday. The judge also ordered the DSS to pay Sowore the sum of hundred thousand naira over his extended detention by the DSS.
