Malachy Asadu, a priest in the Catholic diocese of Nsukka, Enugu state, have been kidnapped by gunmen. The priest was kidnapped on Monday, November 25, along Imilike-Nsukka road in Nsukka local government area, The Cable reports.
        The situation was confirmed by Benjamin Achi, communications director of Enugu Catholic diocese on Tuesday, November 26. Asadu's kidnap comes less than a month after Arinze Madu, a priest and vice-rector at the Queen of Apostle Spiritual Year Seminary, Imezi-Owa in Ezeagu local government area of the state, was abducted and later freed. Going further, the news outlet reports that Ebere Amaraizu, spokesman of Enugu state police command, did not respond to enquiries.
