Sowore meets bail condition, to be released soon - Falana

According to Femi Falana (SAN), the human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, has met the bail conditions imposed on him by the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Falana revealed this on Wednesday, November 5, at the Federal High Court, adding that the defendants would be freed later on in the day. The SAN said that he has spoken to the learned prosecuting counsel that we are encumbered by the refusal of the State Security Service (SSS) to allow us to prepare for the defence of the defendants. “I had already asked my learned counsel for the prosecution, that we are confident that the defendants will be freed on Wednesday from the custody of the SSS having met the bail conditions imposed on them by this honorable court. The human rights lawyer said that once Sowore is liberated from the custody of the SSS, he and the defendants will be in a position to take full instruction from the service.
