Samuel Chukwueze reportedly emerges as target for Premier League side Liverpool
Premier League leaders Liverpool are reportedly interested in the signing of Super Eagles star Samuel Chukwueze and they will be making a move for him in January 2020.
According to the report on Megoalsports, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is impressed with Samuel Chukwueze's performances so far and wants him at Anfield. Samuel Chukwueze's impressive show for Nigeria at the 2019 Nations Cup in Egypt has not gone unnoticed as he became target for many clubs after the competition. Spanish giants Real Madrid are also said to be monitoring the 20-year-old who currently plays for Villarreal as they see him as a player who can replace Gareth Bale. Barcelona have also been linked with the Super Eagles star as they reportedly consider Samuel as cheaper alternative to Brazilian forward Neymar. Last season, Chukwueze was superb for Villarreal scoring 10 goals and creating three assists in 40 games. This term, he has found his goal-scoring form, netting twice and registering one assist in seven games.
