Speaker Gbajabiamila takes up voluntary teaching role in Katsina secondary school
The speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has will teaching at the Government Pilot Senior Secondary School, Kofar Sauri in Katsina state.
The speaker's new job, a voluntary exercise taken up by Gbajabiamila began in his constituency, Surulere 1 in Lagos when he was the House leader in 2017. Lanre Lasisi, the media aide to the speaker in a statement said Gbajabiamila has resolved to take the exercise to all states in Nigeria. Lasisi said the speaker will be taking the Kofar Sauri school children on 'drug abuse' which is part of their academic curriculum for the year. It was gathered that Gbajabiamila will later visit some internally displaced persons at their various camps in the area after the teaching exercise. The speaker will also meet with the governor of Katsina State, Aminu Masari, and some community leaders and youth groups in the state.
