Former aviation minister,Femi Fani-Kayode has commended the governor of Rivers state,Barr.Nyesom Wike on his controversial statement that Rivers state is a Christian state and remains so.
        The statement which generated a lot of controversy from various quarters due to its sensitive nature has been condemned by various Muslim groups, however the ex minister has come to the defence of the Rivers state Governor, He wrote: I have not seen my friend Nyesom Wike, Gov. of Rivers state, for some time so I shall use this medium to commend his courage and faith by boldly declaring that Rivers state is a Christian state and shall always be one.
