Students and doctors from Lagos State University Teaching Hospital on Friday afternoon, April 5, protest the killing of Stephen Urueye. It was gathered that Stephen was a LUTH graduate and House officer who was stabbed to death on the night of Thursday, April 4. Stephen had participated in the graduation ceremony of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) before falling a victim to the armed robbers who stabbed him on Idi-Araba road. Efforts to revive him at LUTH where he was rushed to were in vain as he later died.  One of the many protesters said they need the police force to intervene, saying that are doctors saving lives whose lives also need be saved.
