Just in: 3 kidnappers, 1 policeman killed in Kaduna as expatriates escape abduction.
There was chaos in the morning of Wednesday, April 3, as five alleged kidnappers reportedly attacked a major contracting firm in Kaduna state killing a policeman. The organization has its office located in Mando area of the state. The kidnappers stormed the company around 5:40am in an attempt to take some expatriates. They were, however, said to have been confronted by a team of policemen drafted to the area. While three of the kidnappers were killed in the process, a policeman could not survive. The other two suspects reportedly escaped. The report quoted the police as saying the kidnappers left behind three AK47 riffles, locally made explosive devices, five petrol bomb, special eye glass used to cover the sight of their victims and a golf vehicle.
