Lightening strike kills three in Delta community.
Thunder, at about 3pm today struck three persons dead during a heavy downpour which lasted for 30 minutes in Otu-Jeremi Community, Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State. Among the three victims is Matthew Utuama, a younger brother to the former Deputy Governor of Delta State, Prof. Amos Agbe Utuama.The other victims include, Emeruo Tebite, younger brother to Hon. Talib Tebite, member representing the people of Ughelli South in the Delta State House of Assembly and one other yet to be identified. An eyewitness who spoke on condition of anonymity said the victims were four in number and they were taking refuge in an apartment as the 30 minutes heavy rain fall between Otu-Jeremi and Udu town in Udu Local Government Areas. According to the eyewitness,The fourth got a call and went outside before the unfortunate incident occurred.
