- Trump needs financing for his Mexico-US wall.
- Also requires Harvey relief funding approved.
- Deadline before the shutdown is September 30th.
This month is most likely going to be the most challenging so far for U.S. President Donald Trump as he faces an uphill task of securing funds for a number of high profile government tasks including funding the country's healthcare system and also providing relief support to the victims of Huricane Harvey.
President Trump has also threatened a government shutdown if he does not receive approval from congress for the funding required to build a wall along the US-Mexico border.
The issue of building a wall along the border has been highly contentious since Trump's presidential campaign and it is even more so now that he remains headstrong about the idea.
The dealine for establishing the much needed funds for the government before it is forced to shutdown is September 30th.
