Anambra State Governor Willie Obiano has lashed out at the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and their plot to duisrupt the forthcoming general elections in the state.
Governor Obiano made this reaction whilst speaking on Monday at the Prof. Dora Akunyili Women's Development. He stated that anyone seeking to disrupt the Peace in Anambra would be decisively dealt with and crushed.
He said "We shall all rise up and confront any person or group that attempts to disrupt peace or cause chaos during the election.
"We cannot allow somebody from another state to invade our peaceful state and issue unwelcome directives to us. We will not fold our hands and watch such an individual bring in people from Abia, Enugu and other places to disrupt order in our state.
"Ignore the empty threats. Go about your lawful business and sleep with both eyes closed. I will keep watch over you with my two eyes open. I will let anyone who dares us know I am from Aguleri."
