President and Acting President currently outside Nigeria as Osinbajo visits Rwanda

According to a Statement from the Presidency, the Acting President of Nigeria Yemi Osinbajo has left Nigeria in order to attend the innaugration ceremony of Rwandan President elect Mr Paul kagame in Kigali.
The statement also confirms that the Acting President is expected to return to the country later today.
This means that for a couple of hours at least, Nigeria will be without its President or Acting President.
The statement from the Presidency reads "Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, is attending the presidential inauguration of President Paul Kagame of Rwanda, taking place today in Kigali, the country's capital.
"The inauguration ceremony which is expected to be witnessed by several African Heads of State and Government, follows President Kagame's victory at the August 4 Rwandan presidential election.
"Prof. Osinbajo who is accompanied by the Foreign Affairs Minister Geoffrey Onyeama is expected back in Abuja later today."
