- Protests are Democratic.

- Buhari's ratings would go up before next elections.
The Special Adviser to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina has revealed what he observed and saw when he visited the recovering Buhari along with other aides in London.

Adesina said "The president I saw was sharp, he was smart, he was lucid. The president I saw was like his old self, almost completely mended.

"But then, like we said in the statement we issued which is what he said to us in the first place, he would come when his doctors say it's time to go,"

When asked about the President's response to the current protests going on in Abuja, the aide categorically stated that Buhari was not against the protests and that the president acknowledged it's a democratic thing to do.

When asked about whether the president is not concerned about receiving treatment outside Nigeria, the presidential aide said "The fact that he is in London and is taking treatment there for a while shows his belief that you procure treatment from wherever you can get it.

"It is a man who is alive that continues to lead his family, lead his church, lead his mosque or lead a nation." He also stated that he really does not know who is responsible for Buhari's treatment in London.

"I do not know who is paying (for his treatment), but as a president, he has a right to be treated by the country," he said.

In response to questions regarding Buhari's Presidential Ratings, the aide concluded that the ratings would definitely go up before 2019.
